Back on that pink watch sh*t

6 Feb

Once again, another thing that had to grow on me:
Check out Nooka‘s Zub Zirc Collection for Spring 2010 set to come out on the 15th. The watch comes in six colors: black, white, pink, orange, blue, and green. Go get you some. =]

Wrist Full of Paper.

Electronic paper that is. Lls. French designer, Julien Bergignant created the Tima, a concept watch that utilizes electronic paper. It can simultaneously display both digital as well as analog time. The watch can also display two differnet time zones. Pretty neat. Wonder how much it’d cost..

Hate that damn commercial. Lol.

Alright so anyways, while I wait for a text, I decided to bring you, my dedicated readers (yeah right, I’m sure there’s only like one of you =] ), the Rubber Player Watches by Nixon and Primative. Sexay ain’t they? There are only two types of watches:  a black piece with Primitive’s signature green and blue colorway and another inspired by the Lakers. Both are done in Nixon’s popular Rubber Player silhouette, which features 3-hand Japanese quartz movement, a custom molded, high-polish, gloss finish polyurethane and band, and boasts a diamond at the 6 o’clock position. They’re set to be released on Nov. 14th exclusively through Primative.

I would get one except I’m a little to slow to figure out what time it is with out numbers on the face. Go fig.

Time for you to buy a watch..

I didn’t get it at first but gee willikers this is nice. Designby8 designed the Airtime Project concept watch. And I’m not really sure how to explain it but if you look at the pictures you’ll probably understand how it works (that’s how I did it). Hopefully a working model will be avaliable soon but I don’t even want to think about how much it might cost..

Something, something, something

…stack them watches? Lol.

French designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, obviously finding inspiration everyone’s favorite childhood building boxes, who has made Legos the basis of past creations presents us with a  look into his latest venture: a watch line entitled JC/DC Pop Hours. The collection has a set of six styles, each using playful color choices, easily found with classic Lego playsets. Each watch will also be packaged within a box resembling the build of a Rubix Cube, adding even further nostalgic elements to this upcoming project.
