I loved the Perspective Chair but the new one? Oh lawdy! Lol. The chair comes in four colors: white, black, blue and a pink one that won’t be avaliable until January. The Tank Chair will be on display at The Emmanuel Perrotin Gallery in Miami for Art Basel.

Off of N.E.R.D‘s new album, Instant Gratification that’s coming out next year, here’s Solider featuring Santigold. There’s said to be another version with Lil Wayne but yeah whatever. Check it out.

The music is very three-dimensional. We’re just really excited. We feel like N.E.R.D. has always been the punks of hip-hop and the outcasts of alternative music — just a little different. But this time, we’re taking no prisoners.” He goes on to explain Rhea might be petite, at just 5’4″, but her booming voice and her classical background blend in with the genre-bending trio of N.E.R.D., also including Chad and Shae. N.E.R.D’s next album, titled Instant Gratification, will be her debut showing. I’m def looking forward to it but I like them as they are so I hope that adding a new vocalist will enhance their sound instead of bring them down.

…but hey, atleast it had my baby, Pharrell, in it.

Here’s The Ear Yi Zhou’s latest short film. It was inspired by Gogol’s short story The Nose from the Petersburg Tales and is based on a story about losing an ear. Like I said, the The Ear features Pharrell Williams with music by Ennio Morricone and costumes by Rick Owens and BBC / Ice Cream.

The ear is actually the key element of the film, shot in RED and partly made in 3D animation. Throughout the film, the ear and inner ear as a whole turn themselves into an EarBrige as they get crossed by a bridge. The EarBridge is part of a public project proposal for Baku, Azerbaijan that includes a number of important international contemporary artists.

I’m not a film critic and I don’t try to be. I mainly view films for entertainment. If it’s beyond that, it’s beyond me so I literally have no clue what was going on here. Why are you chopping vegetables? Wuddup with the music? Did you chop of your ear? Is that why you’re wrapping your head?
