Having previewed this project between Zoltar and Nike Sportswear we can give you a great insight to this amazing collage of creative theatrics. The exhibition was part of the Nike Stadium initiative, with these images and this video piece being shot around London. This captivating piece of work has an overwhelming appeal while celebrating the World Cup in a unique way featuring five “warriors” representing South Korea, USA, Netherlands, Portugal and Brazil.

“When the anthropological technicians of the 25th century discovered the most important architectural relic of the 21st century in north Old Londinium, all experts were baffled at the relevance of this stadium saturated in emotion and glory. Upon further rigorous subatomic analysis and clone replication scenarios they made some startling discoveries about the 21st century’s truly global, spiritual phenomena.

The football temples—these open-air amphitheatres were used for mass gatherings, broadcast to every corner of the globe. These pantheons of the ancients, channelled human emotions – faith, belief and hope into the hope of the grail; the coming together of nations and emerging as the champions of the world.

The congregation met in the time honoured clash between good and evil, the congregation’s tribal colours a testament to the devotion of their choosing. This phenomena crossed global political and social boundaries, in the city of Rangoon, monks remains have been found whose devotion was clearly marked by the Brazilian shirt he was clutching.

Like the earth itself, the focus of spiritual nirvana was a pitch of green. On its altar was a football. While engaged in the mass ritual of the game, the faithful would emerge themselves in the full emotional and psychological rollercoaster. Ecstasy, sorrow, joy, frustration, pain and victory were all stops on the intercity to glory.

Further examination revealed that within these highly organised and emotional gatherings were spiritual guides who acted as a human catalyst between the Gods of victory and football. These were the Shaman, united under the swoosh and this is their story. Every four years they would meet to re-enact the tournament of the ages, with only one emerging victorious”.

Julien Choquart and Camille Hirigoyen were initially graphic designers and are now the owners of JACK (which stands for Julien and Camille Kingdom) and are responsible for several illustration and art direction projects. Their unique style is apparent in many illustration and advertising projects of renowned companies among others Nike, the car manufacturers Honda and Ford as also as a series of covers for the Chinese Vogue. They recently launched a new video for the French group Cocosuma which features a number of hand-crafted and painted skulls made by the two.  The project is all stop-motion and was this summer in Paris.

Me likey Air Max…no, me lovey Air Max. Especially these Primative Air Max 90s. As usual, there’s not really much to say except that they come in a cute white, varsity blue and grey colorway and you can buy ‘em here. Peace and chicken grease.

Welcome to the Nike WMNS Air Force 1 High Metallic Silver experience. There’s not really much to say about this except that the colorway is cute, they’re shinny, and they’re made for girls. Yes! They’re avaliable on October 24th at Atmos. So uh yeah..enjoy. =]

…that’s it in a nutshell.

The Nike Air Max Light is back in a colourway that strongly resembles its 1988 original.  This white, grey and obsidian base is enhanced by select touches of photo blue.  Knowing that this shoe itself is a European exclusive (as many Air Max Light releases are), it’s pretty clear where JD Sports gets alot of their design inspiration from.  Own the shoe that took the old world by storm and cop yours from Germany’s Purchaze.

..but I think they’re kinda ugly. Anyone care to buy me the varsity jacket? Lol.

So lets see here, over the past few weeks there have been previews of it all over the internet but now I can show you the whole thing. This is the Nike x Cassette Playa Rivalry Collection.  It consists of the Dunk Hi, three t-shirts, a premium varsity jacket, plus a more light-weight versions of the jacket.

The collection combines classic Nike styles with the fashion forward and colorful designs of Carrie Munden’s Cassette Playa style.

Hot shit, hot shit! Lol. I’m sorry, that song’s been stuck in my head today.

But anyways, while soaking my nails off I came across this: the Nike Air Hoop Structure. I know they’re guy shoes but I like them because they’re simplistic.

The Nike Air Hoop Structure adds to the streak of Triax 91 designs bridging past and present.  The white mix of leather and woven nylon is downright explosive with hot red hits and a translucent outsole.
