At first I kinda didn’t want to go, thinking the movie would just be so-so because I really thought that all basketball players were coincided and only focused on sneaker deals and had no heart. I was so wrong. LeBron James just became my favorite.
More Than a Game was a good great movie. No bullshit. Trust me, if you go see it you’ll be so into it. It’s inspiring and I’ll bet you’ll have something in common and feel for every person in the movie (no, the whole movie is not about LeBron). You’ll be sitting there saying “aww” and “go Dru!” and so on and so forth. Just go see it.
Watch the trailer, yo.

Today in NYC, Lady Gaga, joined by Dr. Dre, unveiled Heatbeats by Lady Gaga, the latest addition to the hugely popular Beats by Dr. Dre headphone family from Monster. I don’t understand why you need a press confrence for headphones, though they are pretty cute, but it was held at New York Palace Hotel in Manhattan with an overview of the success of Beats brand plus support from celebrities like Sting, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Ne-Yo, Soulja Boy, Black Eyed Peas, my girl M.I.A. and Jay-Z.
Explaining her motivation behind creating the headphones, Lady Gaga said:
In the deepest hour of the night, I confess to myself three things. I would die if I was forbidden to write, forbidden to love, or forbidden to fashion. Heartbeats embody the trinity of my human being, with one additional vow: that SOUND matters. Wear Heartbeats, love each other and celebrate the art and lifestyle of music.
She also joked that “I wish I could force my fans to buy my [upcoming] album with these headphones because of the sound quality” to the media crowd about the aptly-named The Fame: Monster, a re-release of her debut album coming out in November. “The truth is, you can download a file, but you can’t download a lifestyle. These headphones are a representation of me; the headphones are what I believe my fans would love to wear as part of me.”
Heartbeats are currently available for pre-order online at BestBuy.com and will be on-sale at all Best Buy stores from October 18. The basic model (not including ControlTalk) is $119.95, the basic model with ControlTalk is $149.95 and the “Haute Couture Ultra High Definition Headphones” will be $179.95. Well damn..
