They’re beautiful. It kinda bugs me cuz they’re not women’s shoes but hey I’m on the virge of not caring.

It’s safe to say that general consensus on the Jordan Flight 45 Hi’s is a resounding thumbs up. We haven’t seen too much hate leveled at them and on much to the contrary have been seeing them pop up on a few celebrity feet. Well now their stylists will have 3 more choices to make when dressing their clients.

The shoes will be making a return in Black/University Blue, Black/Varsity Red – Citrus – White and also White/Spice-Light Retro-Wolf Grey. Be it a full grain upper or suede shoe features a patent leather heel and quarter panel portion. These are all pretty fresh so for once we can’t really pick a favorite at all but as usual we really wanna know what you think so which one wins?

This is just wrong all over. FAIL. I appreciate her attempt at creativity on the cover of Vibe Magazine but nooo just no.

And uhh I read somewhere that tribal patterns are “in” so that’s a plus. But it seems to me that the beads would fall off eventually but hey they’re cute so who cares? Thanks to school and everything else I’ve been M.I.A. (the last post was over a month ago!) on here for awhile but school’s out on June 3rd and I’ll be back in action. Get ready.

I know blogs are full of pictures, full of music and the newest way to crop and chop your shorts and shirts before the summer heat begins. Now, I can’t lie and say I find no interest in these glamors and glories, because I’ll be the first to cut the sides of my shirt and shave all of my head clean of long locks if I feel my beauty will be heightened by this. But my passion, oh my strongest passion is in the words.

I keep watching def poetry jam episodes, keep dreaming of the day where I can stand, trembling and sweating, before an audience who’s eyes cannot leave mine as I spit a verse, poetically of course. Now I know I know, personal blog entries never really catch the interest of a blog follower, they wanna see your latest outfit or when your mixtape will drop, but why not read a sonnet or two? A river of imagery?

Give it a shot, I’ll start to place in a few in between the latest hot heels I desire, the best new Alicia Keys album, my newest blazer I just bejeweled, or the craziest new architectural pattern our design gods have blessed us with.

And remember this: All of these things are beautiful and passions, but close your eyes and read the imagery of the written word, and it can take you further than you’ve ever reached before.
