Fire is dangerous.

31 Oct

The art didn’t really amaze me at first but the fact that he did it with a lighter did. I knew I wasn’t the only one who likes to play with fire, Olivier Kosta-Théfaine does too. You can check out more of his work and an interview at Yatzer. Here’s a snippet:

As a suburban kid I always had an idealized vision of big city life, and sometimes the fantastic view one has about some certain distant things can be even more beautiful and fascinating than reality itself. Life in the suburbs is totally different, it has its own special codes, but often it can be the source of a striking inspiration, the perfect antidote to a sometimes suffocating environment. Then one grows up and finds out that the distance between things is inexistent and everything is connected in the end Although this doesn’t mean that reaching an ideal cannot be totally creative.

Bless your heart

Go ahead with all that “celebrate your own beauty” shit. This is seriously the WTF? Moment of the year. What are you people thinking when you make hand-sculpted pussies and put them on a chain?! They’re cute?

And no, I’m not ashamed of my own body parts; I just don’t think you should parade them around like this. The only people you should show your pussy with no shame are your doctor and your significant other not the misfortunate people who should happen to see you with this on.

Sorry if you’re reading this Mommy. But jeez..

You don’t speak to me

Though I don’t know why a robot needs to jump three inches in the air the new humanoid ROPID bot by Tomotaka Takahashi is adorable. not only has a few new tricks up its plastic sleeves, but has personality to spare. The bot can rotate its upper torso, which seems to help in keeping it balanced while jumping, running and skipping around. It’s still the tried-and-true “bent knees” method of balance, but ROPID is “rapid” enough to make it look almost lifelike. The movements are expressive enough, but with some slightly articulated hands and a moving mouth, ROPID ups the adorable-ness factor over some of its nuts and bolts counterparts. ROPID can also respond to a few voice commands and speaks well. Takahashi designed and built the bot himself. Sweet. Lol.

No, really woah. These look like the kind of concept shoes you only see in magazines but you can acually wear these Clazado de Marloes shoes (I just wonder how comfortable they are). You can buy them here at the Balzado de Marloes online store.

Mommy, can we visit Italy?

Ferrari Factory Store of Serravalle Scrivia, located in Italy, was designed entirely by Iosa Ghini Associates.  For the first time in the history of Ferrari Stores an entire building has been designed to accommodate the store. The building enjoys a privileged position as one of the first structures of the Outlet visible from the main parking area and access roads, for this reason it was designed with an exterior that immediately identifies it at ‘Ferrari space”.
