Check it out: Three Gold Chain and Argonaut Resins‘ final painted version of the Stick Up! figure. It is 8? tall, solid resin, with bendable limbs (these means it can move for all you smart people). Plus, it comes with a money bag accessory. You can buy ‘em just yet but on 30 will be made so look out for it.

Trick or Treat?

Since Halloween’s not to far away and it’s one of my favorite holidays I think it’s kinda cool that Medicom and Kubricks thought to make a zombie Mickey Mouse and Julius. But isn’t wierd that they’re not coming out til January?

You should know by now that I love Bearbricks, shiny things, and Spongebob so I figured I’d bring it to you all at once.

The 1000% Stainless Steel Bearbrick that is apart of  the Black Sense Collection as is the 200% version of the toy. They cost $58,000 (5?250,000 Yen) and 490 (8200 Yen) respectively and, like the rest of the collection, you can find ‘em here at The Contemporary Fix.

Cool? Okay let’s move on.

I know I showed you something like this before but oh well. Thanks to Medicom Toys, Spongebob Squarepants is now a 400% size Bearbrick. The figure is currently available at Colette.

Everything that glitters is gold.

In an effort to commemorate the Minotaur Book Sellers campaign, Medicom Toy created this 100% Bearbrick. The Bearbrick features a metallic gold body with the words MINOTAUR BOOK SELLERS on the chest with a logo on the rear. Get it at Arkkaban. Not much to be said but it’s pretty cute..or do I just like gold? The world will never know.

Here’s a toy you can’t refuse.

From a childhood dream

13 Oct

I know you’ve heard about the new children’s movie, Where the Wild Things Are, adapted by Spike Jonze (if not you need to re-evaluate your priorities. Lol.) so lets skip to the merchandise!

Probably best capturing the book/films’ childhood element is this new set of Bearbricks and Kubrick from Medicom Toy. Featured is a Black Max Bearbrick in 400% format along with a set of the same design in a 100% scale, paired with the actual silhouette of Max in Kubrick style. Both are now available through various Medicom Toy retailers, including Colette.
